I commented on your last post…the one about your crib sheets. And then you disappeared.

Here’s the whatfor though. If you aren’t passionate about it, you wont do it. And if you don’t care, that will come through. Write when you’re passionate, and people will read… otherwise you’re just blowing air.

… people like me will still read it though. Cause we have nothing better to do. Ha!

You’ve likely heard the saying, “People make time for what they value.” And good for you, for valuing other things (parenting?) more than posting entries or monetizing your blog.

Of course, as a mom of 5-year-old twins, sometimes it’s easier to blog than parent. Not sure I want to examine what that says about me…

Hi Blogging Dad! We follow each other on Twitter. I’m @healthyolga. I am taking a Mediabistro class in Blogging right now, which is how I got the guts to start my own blog. Your tweet about the reasons you suck at blogging caught my eye because I can definitely relate! Unless you’re on top of it all the time, it seems like all your best intentions can so easily fall to the side because there are no deadlines when you’re doing your own thing. That’s something I’ve been struggling with too, especially when the work that does provide me income has to take priority over the work I do for fun. Keep me posted on your developments and any tips you come up with for beating the procrastination bug. Maybe we can check in with each other periodically to see how the other is doing and send little reminders to post something if we notice our blogs haven’t had a fresh post in a while!
